About Us

The Thermal Paper Industries Association was registered on 16th June 2009 with its headquarters at Maharashtra, is now the apex body representing the thermal paper industry in India.

It was back in 2009 when a number of Indian manufacturers and pioneering entrepreneurs felt the need to create a common platform for manufacturers, importers, exporters, retailers, distributors, professionals to come together and work towards growth of the thermal paper industry. They therefore formed the Thermal Paper Industries Association as we know it today.

The objectives of the Thermal Paper Industries Association are as follows :

To represent and promote stakeholders in the thermal paper industry.
To act as a catalyst and promote the growth and development of the thermal paper industry in India and at the global level.
To assist with better sourcing, indigenous production, export promotion, import substitution, knowledge sharing, networking, technology up-gradation, cost-effective technologies and equipment, etc. in the thermal paper industry.
To recognise and honour individuals and organisations for the achievements and contributions to the thermal paper industry.
To represent the interest of the thermal paper industry and contribute to policies, standards and benchmarks at the national level.
To bring forth dialogues between Governments and industry representatives, voice concerns and / or grievances of stakeholders in the thermal paper industry.
To establish standards for thermal paper in India.
To create awareness about the thermal paper and increase efficiency, productivity and quality of production.
To provide a common platform for members and stakeholders to share their achievements, ideas, experiences, and knowledge.
To promote economic development and provide rural employment with a larger objective of contributing to India's growing economy.
To liaison with international bodies with an aim to gain better visibility and promote the thermal paper industry.
